De La Soul released a video for their single “Drawn” from their crowd-funded LP and the Anonymous Nobody…. The track features Little Dragon and vocalist Yukimi Nagano sultrily leading the track exclusively, with De La Soul dropping a verse towards the last minute of the song.

The video features a narrative from the intimate perspective of a young creative actress. De La Soul member Kelvin “Posdnous” Mercer spoke with Rolling Stone about how “Drawn”‘s experimental approach is an example of why they decided to crowd-fund their new album, saying, “We couldn’t do that on a regular label. How you gonna present them with a song like this? They may think it’s beautiful but then it’s like, ‘Okay, so, there’s no chorus. For maybe the first three minutes of the record, you’re nowhere to be found.’”
